Angie began attending Harvey S. Firestone High School, where she became known as the "Firestone Falcon" - the high school's mascot. Little did anyone know that their high school mascot would soon become a stunning model. Angie began modeling when she was in her 16th year. Upon turning 17, Angie flew to Italy and France to begin modeling full-time. In 1987, Angie ventured off to Africa for her first all-important photo shoot, and by the time 1988 came to close, she had already been on the covers of a few highly noted magazines, including Glamour and Elle. Angie is a great admirer of horse and enjoyed horseback riding a great deal. Unfortunately, Angie unexpectedly fell off her horse and ended up in a wheelchair with a busted back. It took only 4 months before Angie began walking again. Nevertheless, she still horseback rides regularly. It was in 1993 that Angie made her acting debut, in a film called The Last Action Hero, which co-starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 1995, she continued her transition into acting, landing a part in Jade and filming the remake of Tales from the Crypt. Angie didn't drop her modeling career totally as she managed to squeeze in some time to pose for Sports Illustrated's famed swimsuit issue. Believe it or not, her luscious legs are insured for a whopping one million dollars. After her modeling career took off full swing, she began her stint in acting. During the time when she was getting recognized worldwide for her undeniable beauty, Angie made a promise to her elderly grandmother that she would never pose naked in front of a camera. Unfortunately for her grandma, she broke that promise when she took on the starring role in Love in Paris, the steamy sequel to 9 1/2 Weeks alongside Mickey Rourke. Angie decided to tie the knot and married Ashley Hamilton (son of George Hamilton -- the really tanned guy!) on December 1, 1996. Three short months later unfortunately, Angie and Ashley decided to part ways and divorced soon afterwards. Of note, Angie was also engaged to Sly Stallone in 1995 for two months before she decided to break the engagement with the renowned star of the Rocky films. Although Angie starred in numerous other films in 1999, she has yet to make her mark in the acting department. Hopefully she will attain a starring role and give audiences a breakthrough performance. | |
